Metal Allergies

All too often we hear complaints that our clients are unable to wear certain pieces of jewelry because their skin becomes irritated. By following the chart below you may be able to determine a more skin-friendly metal.

For example if you have a reaction after wearing your favorite Sterling Silver and Yellow Gold right-hand ring you may have an allergy to copper, silver or zinc. If you can wear white gold without issue, your allergy is to silver. Platinum is always a good bet for allergy sufferers.
